Our product is a subscription-based platform that connects the shed retailer to both the end-consumer and to major suppliers of raw materials. This synergy achieved by enabling our users to quickly quote steel buildings out to the retail market and then purchase materials from partnered suppliers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and creative full-stack Software Engineer to help us on our journey in delivering our IP out to the marketplace.
You don’t need to know about steel buildings, but you do need to have a mind that is mechanically capable and able to understand basis building componentry. Working under the direction of our Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be an integral addition to our Development Team working closely with the General Manager, QA Test Analyst and Engineering Team to assist in the release of new versions out to our client basis. You’ll also have the opportunity to put your skills to test, as we are looking for an individual who is creative enough to work also on Rn D projects for new and bespoke features.
This role is not just about your ability to code. We are looking for someone who is passionate and creative and has the ability to think outside the box. The user experience is our primary goal and that is why our product is the pinnacle pioneer in this niche industry.
QUALITIES & SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL server databases, Typescript, Javascript, HTML and CSS.
• Mathematical literacy and ability to apply this knowledge to building designs and componentry.
• Preferred experience in writing test automation scripts is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and highly detailed oriented.
• Perfectionist mindset with enthusiasm to think outside the box and not always do what everyone does.
• Problem solving skills, tenacity, positive attitude and internal self-belief and motivation.
• Looking for a long-term involvement in a bespoke product.
• Experience with the Azure eco system.
• Test driven development of a javascript front end would be a great advantage.

The position is offered onsite in Spring Hill, Brisbane full-time (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm), with immediate start. Competitive salary offered based on experience level with staff bonuses award for company performance.

We are flexible for start date and can accomodate for new job offering in new year if relocation interstate is required. Alternatively, should a 2024 commencement date be preferred, the candidate should be aware that our office will be closed for two weeks over the Christmas period.
