About the role:
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, gas and renewable energy projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, hydrogen, wind, solar, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs.
About you:
As a GIS Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful execution of GIS Data deliverables on our CSG gathering projects. You will be an energetic team player who can add value to our team of specialised GIS Analysts.

As a GIS Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful execution of GIS Data deliverables on our CSG gathering projects. You will be an energetic team player who can add value to our team of specialised GIS Analysts.
Other Duties:
- Development and creation of the GIS detailed design deliverables to meet technical specifications and guidelines
- Facilitating the GIS requirements for Safety Management and Design review meetings
- Creation and management of project attribute database
- GIS support to the Engineering, Civil, I&E, Survey and Environmental teams
- Environmental and Design Constraints assessments
- Create, document and manage GIS systems and procedures for a variety of projects
- Communication with the Engineering team and clients
- A Bachelors Degree in Geographic Information Systems or similar tertiary qualification is preferable
- Experience with Map Info Professional (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with Esris Arc GIS Desktop applications, especially Arc Map, with Arc GIS Pro advantageous
- Skills in automation using Modelbuilder, Arc Py and Python advantageous
- Minimum of 1 year GIS industry experience preferred
- Experience in pipelines and CSG gathering systems will be advantageous
- Strong commitment to client satisfaction
- A high commitment to work place health and safety and the use of safe work systems
