About the opportunity
Gain a nationally recognised Post Graduate qualification in Graduate Certificate in Oncology in collaboration with the University of Melbourne.

Mercy Hospital for Women, Gynaecology/Oncology Ward is recruiting Registered Nurses to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Oncology Nursing, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne. It is a fully paid employment model that gives you experience caring for women at all stages of the cancer journey.
Ongoing clinical support at the bedside and specialised education, in affiliation with the University of Melbourne, provides the opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment.
By joining our team, you will develop a strong clinical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive high quality care.
About you:
You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

Current unrestricted registration as RN Division 1 with APHRA

A minimum of 12 months registered nursing experience

Proven ability to work independently as well as working collaboratively within the team

Critical thinking ability and demonstration in prioritising patients’ care

Commitment to furthering knowledge and continuing professional development
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
