About the role

The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards in quality of services and food production. This position is day shifts only, hours vary between 07.00 and 17.00 and will oversee our largest aged care facility with 153 beds.

What you bring

Certificate lll or l V in commercial cooking or other relevant trade certificate
5 Years experience in the Hospitality Industry
Experience in bulk cooking and food preparation
Working knowledge of the HACCP principles food safety standards and regulations
Strong leadership & communication skills
Ability to order stock and maintain budget
Commitment to continuing professional development
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
