Mc Cracken Country Club and Victor Harbor Conference Centre are a convenient 50 minutes from Adelaide. The Conference Centre has the capacity to host 300+ guests, whilst the Country Club offers guests breakfast, lunch and dinner dining in the popular Bar & Grill restaurant.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop and design diverse and innovative menus tailored to various events and client preferences.
• Prepare and present dishes with consistency and excellence.
• Manage all aspects of the kitchen including, stock and wastage control, production schedules, food costing analysis, budgeting, and staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
• Positively lead, mentor, and manage culinary team to deliver a unique dining experience and signature offerings at both the Bar & Grill in the Country Club and events at the Conference Centre

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience as Head Chef leading a fast-paced, large scale, premium event kitchen
• Min. 3 years Head Chef experience
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Qualifications / certificates in HACCP, local Food handling & Hygiene
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• The ability to thrive under pressure and multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster a positive team culture
• The flexibility to work throughout the entire week including weekends and public holidays
• The flexibility to cover shifts at both the Bar & Grill in the Country Club and events at the Conference Centre
