AOMORI SUSHI located in Caringbah is a high-quality Japanese restaurant.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Japanese Cuisine Chef on a full-time basis.
To be successful in this position, you are required to have the following skills and qualifications:
- Certificate IV in cookery, with a diploma or higher qualification in hospitality management
- 2 years of chef including experience in a Japanese cuisine restaurant
- Expertise in Japanese cuisine
- Flair and innovative in menu development
- Ability to manage labour, food and operational costs
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations and dietary requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Effective management skills in kitchen staff and practices
- Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred
