The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Journalist Producer to join our dynamic 7NEWS Team, to shape television and local news in Brisbane.
Reporting directly to the 7QLD News Director, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating segments and delivering breaking news stories. Your responsibilities will involve crafting engaging content, actively participating in editorial discussions, and working closely with the News Director on story development.

About You:
You’ll be an experienced journalist with producing skills, with a hunger to tell untold stories that matter to Australians. You’ll be a proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, with a keen sense of urgency and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in television news reporting and producing
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail
• Passion for news and a commitment to accuracy and integrity
• Demonstrated editorial prowess and a strong grasp of media law and ethics
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related media field
