Leadership Development & Capability Lead

About the Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Leadership Development & Capability Lead to join our Learning and Development team based in our office in Milton, Brisbane. This role involves:
- Collaborate with Talent and Group teams to develop and implement evaluation strategies to ensure benefits realisation, return on investment and to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Contribute to the identification and minimisation of business risks and compliance issues
- Procure, on-board and manage contracts with external providers to ensure delivery of services are on time, in line with compliance requirements both operational and contractual
- Lead the development of communication and engagement strategies, content and collateral required to drive successful implementation of future talent and management development strategies, tools and programs
- Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of leadership programs and E&U business requirements.
- Create solution designs and implement fit for purpose programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand training and reporting requirements
- Deliver Ad-hoc and Downer centric leadership programs when required
- Procure, on-board and manage contracts with external providers to ensure delivery of services are on time, in line with compliance requirements both operational and contractual
- Lead the development of communication and engagement strategies, content and collateral required to drive successful implementation of future talent and management development strategies, tools and programs
- Min 5 years experience in developing and implementing culture change and leadership development programs in complex environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of leadership development optimising business outcomes
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications either in HR, Org Psychology or Adult Ed
