Maintenance Fitter

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Fitter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. You will be involved in a variety of projects that challenge and enhance your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings.
- Trade qualification in Fitting/Machining or relevant field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
- Fitter: 1 year (Preferred)
- Order Picking Forklift Licence (Preferred)
- Forklift Licence (Preferred)
- Driver Licence (Preferred)
- Australia (Required)
