This position is responsible for consolidating and analysing financial data, providing profitability improvement opportunities, reporting internally, and complying with all financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse, and report financial and statistical information on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts and budgets.
- Providing basic support across the Finance team, including assistance with business-as-usual accountancy tasks.
- Identify cost reductions and opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Provide information that will allow strategic decisions to increase profitability while considering risk mitigation.
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and analyse and improve processes.
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives.
- Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions at all times.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Degree qualified CA / CPA, or working towards.
- Experience in Management Accounting
- Sound understanding of corporate governance and internal control practices.
- Sound understanding of financial reporting requirements and standards.
- Ability to formulate practical solutions to complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including high level communication at all levels of the business.
- Effective time management.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Advanced computer skills.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
