- High level scientific knowledge as it applies to a multi-disciplinary laboratory network.
- Proven ability to achieve organisational outcomes within a large and diverse organisation.
- Advanced knowledge and skill in embedding quality systems and risk mitigation strategies in complex organisations.
- Knowledge of research principles and governance models.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and development of training programs.
- Advanced negotiation, consultative, written, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead by example, build an effective team culture, and lead others through change.
- The successful applicant must have a Degree in Applied Science - Medical Science or equivalent.
- A qualification or certification in management, business, adult learning, quality systems or research is highly desirable.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
