Position Overview
As a Marketing Specialist, you will join our dedicated team at Statewide Business Training, contributing to the promotion and growth of our diverse training programs. This role is crucial to expanding our reach and establishing meaningful connections within the community, helping individuals pursue educational and career goals through our trusted programs. You’ll play a key role in increasing awareness of our training offerings and building partnerships with various community groups, educational institutions, and industry organizations.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase enrollment in our business, hospitality, and retail programs.
• Represent Statewide Business Training at local events, expos, and community outreach programs to foster partnerships and raise awareness of our training options.
• Collaborate closely with our trainers and support team to promote programs that align with industry needs and community goals.
• Manage social media campaigns, website content, and other digital marketing initiatives to enhance our online presence.
• Provide information to prospective students and community partners about our programs, including admissions processes, course details, and funding options.
• Prepare and present marketing performance reports, analyzing metrics to refine strategies and achieve enrolment targets.
• Identify new opportunities for program development based on industry demand and community feedback, contributing insights to management for future growth.

About You

• You are a proactive marketing professional with a passion for education and community development.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy connecting with people, and are motivated to make a positive impact on individuals’ educational journeys.
• Your marketing experience in the education or training industry, particularly within the VET sector, will be instrumental in driving our outreach efforts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential as you will engage with diverse community groups, industry representatives, and prospective learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the commercial, education, healthcare, or community sectors.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in digital marketing and social media management.
• Creative, adaptable, and able to work independently to achieve goals.
• Knowledge of local community and educational networks is a plus.
