- ASO3 - Salary – $66,590 to $70,968 p.a
- Full Time Employment– Term Contract
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Medical Records team as a Medical Records Coordinator, where you will be responsible for:
- coordinating and contributing to the provision of a comprehensive efficient, effective, responsive and confidential Medical Record Service to the organisation
- the provision of all orientation, training and ongoing education of the ASO2 staff working in the Medical Records Department
- and is required to coordinate the workload and day to day performance of this staff group.
- facilitating the WCHN response for coronial directions.
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:
- Proven ability to analyse, evaluate and apply information to support administrative operations and general work unit direction
- Excellent communication and high level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff, external agencies
- Competent and accurate data entry, keyboard and intermediate computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to use judgement and respond to unusual circumstances in assisting with all enquiries whilst working under continuous pressure.
- Experience in staff management
- Experience with Microsoft Office
