Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

As a Full Stack Developer at you Xpowered you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of asset finance. From building seamless software solutions to enhancing user experiences, your work will directly drive engagement, adoption, and satisfaction. This is a full-time, onsite role based in our vibrant Rhodes office – just 20 minutes by train from Sydney's CBD.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration Powerhouse: Work closely with the CIO, Product Owners, and Technical Lead to design and refine applications that transform asset finance.
- Feature Champion: Build user-friendly, secure, scalable, and lightning-fast features that simplify the finance journey for everyone.
- End-to-End Engagement: Get involved in every phase—from scoping out requirements to planning, coding, quality control, and testing, all the way to training and ongoing support.
- Stakeholder Rockstar: Keep things professional and clear in all your interactions with external stakeholders, reinforcing our trusted relationships.
- Architect of Solutions: Design, build, and present innovative software architectures that solve real business problems.
- Efficient Coder: Write best-practice, efficient code that gets the job done right the first time.
- Experience-Driven Development: Ensure every change you make results in a stellar user experience, while meeting security and performance standards.
- Code Curator: Maintain and upgrade our existing systems to keep things running smoothly.
- Knowledge Sharer: Support the team, share your knowledge, and contribute to the wider business to keep us all growing.
- Java Script Frameworks: Experience with modern frameworks like React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Cloud Savvy: Knowledge of AWS (Amplify, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda) or similar cloud services.
- Bonus Points: If you know your way around PHP, that’s a plus.
- Database Know-How: Experience with both relational (My SQL) and document (Mongo DB) databases.
- Code Confidence: Ability to assess, tweak, and build on code written by others.
- Outcome-Driven: Focused on delivering results that matter.
- Adaptability: Ability to pick up new technologies and hit the ground running.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical and first-principles thinking to address the root cause of issues, not just the symptoms.
- Team Player: Able to thrive both independently and in a collaborative, Agile environment.
- Tech Translator: Capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Previous experience in a similar role is great, but we’re more interested in your passion for growth and learning.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred—but if you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the opportunity.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
