Neurology Visiting Medical Officer position to be based at Wollongong Hospital to integrate with our existing ISLHD team of Neurologists. This is a 12-month temporary role, with a maximum of 24 hours per month and available on an on-call basis.

Specialist registration or eligible for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Neurology and/or equivalent and specialist recognition, with demonstrated satisfactory background in decision making for reperfusion (thrombolysis, ECR Referral)

Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
