• Based in Uni SA Online at the City West campus
• Full-time and part-time (1.0 FTE and 0.5FTE), 2 year fixed term contracts available
• Starting salary: $109,074 (pro rata for part time) per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

You will work with academic staff to support the development and delivery of curriculum for Uni Start’s online enabling programs. Key responsibilities include applying expertise to deliver high-quality online teaching to students studying a pathway program, contributing to the digital transformation of courses, and coordination and day-to-day management of online tutoring staff.

You will have experience in teaching enabling programs, and will be passionate in teaching foundation courses to a diverse student cohort. You will be patient, and have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adjust your communication style as required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or relevant work experience in teaching enabling courses
• Evidence of recent teaching experience and discipline knowledge within a relevant field
• Demonstrated passion for and proficiency in undertaking teaching duties including the design and preparation of online teaching activities and resources
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of a wide range of education technologies such as learning management systems (LMS – e.g. Moodle, Black Board, or Canvas), and virtual classrooms
• Understanding and experience in using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies, including the ability to develop supportive learning environments
