About the Role
Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, this role will support our Product Engineering team for an upcoming new brand. On offer is a Product Strategy & Market Research Senior Specialist position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

Product Planning:
- Lead the product planning process for new and existing vehicles.
- Define product features, specifications, and positioning based on market needs and company objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and customer expectations.
- Market Analysis & Vehicle Lineup Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, including identifying trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and implement strategies for the vehicle lineup that maximize profitability and market share.
- Monitor market performance, sales data, and feedback to adjust product strategies as needed.

Key requirements:

3+ years’ experience in Product Planning, Product Management, or a related role within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of Australasia’s automotive market trends, consumer needs, technologies and competitive landscape.
Excellent Negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
