Employment Type: Permanent Part Time 28.5 hours per week
Position Classification: Registered Midwife
Remuneration: $32.32 - $49.60 per hour + Annual Leave Loading + 11.5% Superannuation

Location
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.

The Role
The Registered Midwife is responsible for the provision of woman centred; evidence- based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate

Has a current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
