Position Classification: Registered Midwife
Remuneration: $70,049.73 – $98,351.39 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Part time hours may be considered)
Location: Auburn Hospital

As the Caseload Midwife you will provide evidence-based, woman-centered maternity care to low-risk women and their families in the Auburn Hospital catchment area. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering maternity care through a caseload model
- Partnering with multidisciplinary teams
- Offering clinical, cultural, and psychological support
- Ensuring smooth transitions to child and family health services
- Collaborating with other agencies as needed

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Registered Midwife (Division 1).
- Demonstrated extensive experience and clinical skill as a registered midwife Commitment to developing advanced clinical skills and maintaining ongoing mandatory training requirements.
- Availability to work flexible hours with availability to be on call.
- Demonstrated understanding of the broader multicultural Health issues including demonstrated understanding of the unique medical, physical, social and emotional issues in the Auburn Community.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of continuity of carer/primary health care models of midwifery care in addition to an explicit understanding of strengths-based philosophy.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team with demonstrated effective teamwork and communication skills and demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Current Driver’s Licence valid in Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
