Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care
As a Registered Nurse in Aged Care, you'll provide vital nursing services in a supportive health service environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess individual patient needs and coordinate service delivery from various options, including other disciplines or agencies.
  • Provide direct, person-centered nursing care and case management on a shift-by-shift basis, gaining increasing autonomy.
  • Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines to meet individual health care needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and minimise risks.
  • Serve as ward/team leader as needed, supporting staff and coordinating patient care.
  • Contribute to procedures for managing challenging behaviours effectively.
What We're Looking For:
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate competence in nursing practice, adhering to the relevant standards of care.
  • Experienced in using computer software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
