- Rate of Pay: $36.65 per hour + 25% Casual loading - RN/M1 | Rate of Pay: $42.81 per hour + 25% Casual loading - RN/M2C
- Multiple Casual Vacancies with the potential for ongoing or term appointment
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered/Clinical Nurse to join our team in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU). PACU is considered a high acuity area given the potential for rapid and unexpected patient deterioration and adverse events.
About the role:
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role is responsible for patients in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit. Duties for the role will include:
- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers,
- Assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies,
- Plan and coordinate services including those from other disciplines
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate,
- Demonstrated competence in PACU nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards,
- RN/M2C - Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
