About the role
Permanent opportunity to be a part of the rehabilitation engineering clinical team with a primary focus on providing professional engineering skills in the provision of assistive technology to people with complex needs.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Metro North HHS's core values, as outlined above.
• Provision of day-to-day service in the diverse clinical and technical tasks of the rehabilitation engineering service including an increasing role in assessments and design, modification and repair of assistive technologies.
• Perform a diverse range of professional engineering tasks of increasing complexity to a consistently high standard.
• Solve complex problems regarding assistive technology assessment and with an increasing level of independence and reducing level of clinical practice supervision.
