Research Facility Manager

The opportunity: As a Research Facility Manager: - Develop and implement operational and business plans related to research and development, compliance and resource management.- Build trusted relationships with DAF researchers and technical staff and external researchers to capitalise on the use of Agtech equipment and resources.- Make informed, data-driven decisions and ensure the integrity of research, development and extension projects and activities are respected to deliver positive outcomes for industry.- Take opportunities for your own professional development and of the staff you supervise through performance capability planning and dedicated career development training programs.Emerald is located a three-hour drive from Rockhampton and is the largest town in the Central Queensland Highlands.You may be entitled to the following: - Locality allowance.- Housing may be available.- 5 weeks recreation leave.- Relocation expenses.What we are looking for: (qualifications, registrations, experience)There are some qualifications and licences that we see as essential.
