Within the Strategic Transformation team, Transformation Office, Queensland Corrective Services (QCS), there is an exciting opportunity for a Resource Analyst to support the effective management of resourcing and capacity data for QCS' portfolio of projects.
This is a new role and function within this team so a level of initiative will be required to help collaborate with the teams to design and embed new concepts or tools aligned to existing project frameworks.
By developing and coordinating central workforce plans for each QCS project initiative and undertaking indepth resourcing analysis, this role will provide the data to inform both individual project and whole-of organisation project resourcing priorities, forecasts and/or modelling. Using this data, the role will actively support associated recruitment plans and actions for QCS' portfolio of projects.
When reviewing and analysing resource and capacity data, it is the expectation to identify subsequent risks or issues, and then work with wider QCS teams to develop risk mitigations that ensure project teams are fully resourced to meet delivery timeframes.

To be successful in this niche role, you will need:

• High level knowledge of best practice resourcing and management approaches, frameworks and systems
• Experience in managing a complex portfolio of resources, including external vendors, in a large, challenging, and highly regulated public sector organisation
• Understanding of the elements of project management including change and integration practices.
• High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse, interpret and report data and project outcomes to support effective decision making.
• High level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with and influence others on sensitive and complex issues
• Capability to contribute to and disseminate, complex submissions and reports, briefing notes, presentations, publications and correspondence for a diverse range of stakeholders
