What you’ll do:
  • Manage revenue as per the revenue calendar, ensuring revenue is issued on time, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Manage receipting and transaction allocation activities to Water NSW customers
  • Assist with revenue assurance projects to ensure minimal revenue leakage whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism and upholding relationships with key areas of Water NSW
  • Manage complex customer billing, credit enquiries and complaints referred from the Helpdesk
  • Ensure timely resolution of systemic issues, thinking outside of the square and with a Continuous Improvement mindset


What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting or equivalent experience in a similar role (e.g. Billings, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance Administration)
  • Proven ability to meet conflicting deadlines and work in a high-volume work environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
  • Detailed understanding of Continuous Improvement tools and processes.
  • Good communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
