About the role
The Senior Analyst, Business Risk & Compliance - Member & Employer Experience (SAR-MEX) position is a key role within the Line 1 Business Risk & Compliance team, reporting to the Head of Business Risk & Compliance - MEX (HBR-MEX).
The SAR-MEX role is part of a Line 1 Business Risk & Compliance team, working within the MEX business, collaborating with MEX stakeholders to drive an optimised and sustainable balance between risk and reward to achieve member outcomes and business objectives.

The primary responsibility for the SAR-MEX is to implement the risk management framework and strategy to ensure MEX business risks are identified, understood and managed effectively, consistent with the Cbus enterprise risk management framework.

About you
To be successful in the role you will have proven risk, control and compliance experience in a senior specialist role ideally in the superannuation or financial services sector. With experience in supporting / implementing a line 1 risk management frameworks and controls in line with the enterprise risk strategy.
You will have prior experience in developing and reviewing business unit risk registers to identify and analyse material risks, controls and compliance obligations based on documented business processes and work with managers in the team to enhance and improve processes.

You will possess strong skills in reporting, including delivering meaningful insights from data (ability with Power BI or similar system a plus).

Ideally you will have a strong understanding of interdependencies between superannuation business processes, systems, risks, controls and compliance and be commercially astute with strong analytical and organisational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, activities and projects, simultaneously.

You will have demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders and a commitment to the success of MEX business and risk management through cross functional communication and cooperation.
