Job Description

As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering to the compliance management frameworks that apply to Qantas Technology. This role will support the consolidated portfolio of all compliance frameworks where Qantas Technology plays a key role.
You will support ongoing PCI DSS assessments, preparing for and managing annual compliance assessments. Additionally, you will support the full lifecycle for compliance maintenance, providing quality services which both predict and meet the needs of the Qantas Group.
Role responsibilities:
- Drive the assessment and management of any changes to Qantas’s compliance requirements or to support proactive response to emerging risks.
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across the business & technology domains.
- Coordination and tracking adherence to security controls around PI (personal information) including our minimum baseline controls – Purging, logging, scanning and UAR (User Access Reviews)
- Audit and Issue management follow-up through Group Risk and Compliance Systems – may include training of Technology teams
- Prepare and maintain risk and compliance roadmap
- Assisting in PCI coordination and planning
- Work with other areas, including Line 2 Assurance, to assist delivery of their own compliance activities
- 4+ years’ experience in IT and preferably a risk and compliance role.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar scale, complex organisation.
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent or significant on-the-job experience.
- Proven ability to understand Line 1 operational and compliance issues & risks (inherent or emerging) in a business area.
- Exposure to PCI (Concepts, Requirements and Audits) is desirable.
- Experience with GRC/Policy/Compliance Management tools is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal skills with the ability to relay complex ideas clearly to various audiences.
- Strong influence and negotiation skills to obtain commitments to remediate risks and vulnerabilities from leadership of other tech teams.
- Ability to generate improvement ideas and strategies and translate into detailed approaches and plans.
- Ability to prioritise and execute competing tasks across diverse and dynamic teams to ensure deadlines are met
