The Technology Delivery Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering transformational programs of work across our technology and digital teams. You’ll be working closely with the Program Director, business leads, SMEs, sponsors and steering committee, managing technology program execution, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring that program goals are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
The Technology Delivery Manager will collaborate with cross functional program leads, and multi-vendor technical squads, to ensure that the end-to-end design and delivery considers people, process & technical readiness, and that the solution is secure by design, scalable and sustainable.
The ideal candidate will build trust and nurture a collaborative culture, working with a diverse stakeholder mix, to drive strategic focus, clear financial & project governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business value. They will be able to operate in a fast paced, changing environment, bring structure to the environment, and manage within complex and continuously evolving environments.
You’ll have:
- 12+ years of program management and delivery experience, with relevant qualifications (e.g., Prince 2, Scrum Master, Agile Project Management), and a proven track record in delivering value, innovation and growth through digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to develop and manage detailed program plans, oversee project activities / sprint lifecycles and manage resource capacity plans to ensure program objectives are met on time, to scope and within budget.
- Demonstrated experience in accurate budget and forecast management
- Comprehensive experience in Software Delivery Lifecycle and Digital / Technology transformation, and Technology Service Management
- Ability to identify and articulate program dependencies and interdependencies with a particular focus on critical path items.
- Strong understanding of technical system resilience, cyber security & data privacy requirements, software development lifecycle, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management, with the ability to work closely with technical teams to solve complex problems.
- Ability to Identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and develop contingency plans to ensure program success.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical senior audiences.
- Experience in influencing change management in complexed matrixed organisations.
- Experience in leading cross functional agile teams
- Proficiency with project delivery software and productivity tools (e.g., Jira Workflow Management, Clarity PPM, Microsoft Project, Excel etc).
