The Position

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer responsible for the delivery of structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle. You will be able to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline project teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering technically excellent engineering designs for, and consultancy services to our clients, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver an exciting portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects
• Performing a lead engineer or design management role on projects
• Lead, motivate, inspire and guide your team to reach their full potential and deliver outstanding results
• Mentoring and facilitating the technical development of more junior resources
• Driving business development, winning work, identifying the next opportunities and supporting the winning of these opportunities. Bid preparation and submittals as required
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Driving and supporting a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Who we’re looking for:

• Structural Engineering professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering or similar
• Significant experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering environment including construction phase inspections
• Previous responsibility across the full project lifecycle, including project delivery
• Chartered Engineering status is desirable, or eligible to apply for CPEng/NER
• Understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of large structures incorporating RC/PT concrete, steel and mass timber
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar.
