Job Description:
Smokin' Joe’s Pizza, Pasta & Grill is seeking skilled and dedicated cooks to join our team. As a cook, you’ll play a vital role in crafting high-quality pizza, pasta, and grill dishes that keep our guests coming back. Our ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can maintain high standards of kitchen safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items, including pizzas, pasta, and grilled dishes, following recipes and presentation standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and mixers.
Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with inventory management and food prep as needed.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to provide a great customer experience.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a cook, preferably in a pizza, pasta, or grill kitchen.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Apprenticeship
Expected hours: 3 – 35 per week
