The primary responsibility of the Flight Simulator Technician role is to facilitate in the repair and maintenance of Ground-Based Training Simulators (GBTS) and Flight Training Devises (FTD).

Your responsibilities will include:

In this role, you will:

Install, test, repair and modify electronic equipment following technical manuals or verbal instructions.
Perform hand soldering of surface mount components to a high standard.
Assist investigations into non-standard technical problems to ensure simulator up-time.
Provide updates as required on technical aspects of maintenance and performance.
Maintain effective customer communications and relations and represent the Company in a professional manner.

About you:

To be successful in securing this position, you will have:

Good understanding of:
- Digital Processing equipment
- Audio-Visual equipment
- PC, Server and associated LAN networks and systems
- Communication systems
- Experience with Linux OS
Good ability to work with Management and other non-technical staff to achieve successful outcomes for the broader organisation.
Well-developed problem solving, planning, and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate and influence others.
Good self-motivation, ability to work in a very dynamic environment.
Good ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing conditions and customer requirements.

Special Requirements:
