We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional with a passion for all things diversity and inclusion to join one of Australia’s top employers. This role partners with our internal talent attraction teams, people and culture cohorts and broader external partners to help us deliver on our Diversity & Inclusion strategy for Australia Post. With a rewarding balance of operational tasks and projects/programs of work to lead or contribute expertise to, you will have many opportunities to make a true impact.
What you’ll deliver with us
Partnering with our Talent Attraction and specialist D&I teams, you will play a key role in providing attraction, recruitment/onboarding support and lead resourcing initiatives for our various D&I identities (First Nations, Disability, Gender, Generational, LGBTIQA+, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse including Refugees and Veterans).
You’ll also
- Act as the first point of contact for all Australia Post D&I recruitment related external enquiries via our Inclusion Inbox.
- Provide key advice and ongoing training support to our Talent Attraction team on D&I candidate themes and inbound requests.
- Guide the delivery of our Talent Attraction D&I Strategy via project coordination (to compliment our Gender, Refugee, First Nations and Accessibility Action Plans) to ensure we continue on the roadmap for success.
- Share key recruitment data and views on all D&I activity to better inform recruitment process design, optimisation and considerations for the future.
- Regularly track the D&I recruitment trends in market around sourcing channels, technology, partnerships and events that could be beneficial to Australia Post.
- Attend as the Talent Attraction D&I representative at internal and external events, as well as supporting with written material/data for accreditation submissions and awards.
- Support our internal D&I Employee Groups and external D&I partnerships to ensure we have key talent attraction initiatives working cohesively aligned to our Australia Post strategy and values.
About you
Reporting into the Talent Attraction Manager (Campaign Delivery & Inclusion), you will join a passionate, empowered and close-knit team who manage all our major recruitment campaigns and D&I projects. We are looking for someone who really enjoys the mix of recruitment operations combined with D&I strategy, initiatives and projects.
You’ll also need
- Prior experience in an internal or RPO recruitment role with exposure coordinating initiatives and projects. A passion or experience in D&I recruitment related activities would be advantageous also.
- Proven track record in managing multiple competing priorities by having excellent organisation and forward planning skills.
- The ability to build and nurture strong relationships both internally and externally, with the ability to influence views on how to continue to optimise our diversity and inclusivity talent attraction journey.
- Demonstrated experience in being able to think commercially and strategically before decision making, whilst at times managing confidential information.
- Comfortable gathering and interpreting data to shape a position or view on D&I recruitment progress.
How we’ll deliver for you
- Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day
- We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together
- Flexible working, across head office and facilities across the network
