Teacher Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (0.5FTE) - Sir Joseph Banks High School

Position Information
Sir Joseph Banks High School is a comprehensive high school with a current enrolment of 961 mainstream students and a Support Unit of 72 students catering for 3 Intellectually Mild and 2 Intellectually Moderate classes. We are a vibrant and proudly inclusive, multicultural learning community (84% NESB), with 29 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island students, who have built a strong learning culture of Excellence, Innovation, Opportunity and Success.

Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PHP) with a willingness to teach Physical Activity and Sport Studies (PASS), Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation (SLR) and Community and Family Studies (CAFS).
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate high quality differentiated, culturally inclusive teaching and learning programs and assessments which meet the needs of EAL/D learners and students with diverse needs.


Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.


Special Notes
This is a permanent part-time position of 2.5 days per week, 0.5FTE (full time equivalent)
