Truck Driver – Dry Creek, SA
Kogan People Solutions are working to assist our client who runs a successful refrigerated storage and transport company, based in Dry Creek, SA.
This well-regarded business provides refrigerated transport services to support some of Australia’s leading poultry, meat and dairy suppliers. Their modern fleet and temperature monitoring systems can ensure freight is within temperature specifications required to transport refrigerated food over long distances.
As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking a professional and experienced truck driver who can deliver outstanding and reliable service for their customers. The role is full time and ongoing.
Work base: Dry Creek, SA
Salary range: $60k - $80k plus superannuation per annum
Role Responsibilities include:
· Driving heavy vehicles (HGVs) to deliver refrigerated or frozen goods, ensuring that temperatures meet specific requirements throughout the transport process.
· Monitoring and adjusting refrigeration units during transit to maintain appropriate conditions for goods as per industry standards and customer requirements.
· Loading, unloading, and securing refrigerated items to prevent damage or spoilage, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
· Performing regular inspections and basic maintenance of the truck and refrigeration system to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with road and safety regulations.
To be successfully considered for this role, you must have:
· HGV Experience – mandatory

• Certificate II or III (or agreed substitute) in a relevant field.
• Current MC license – a must.
• At least 1 year (preferably more) relevant experience in this field.

· Working knowledge of relevant guidelines and regulations.
· Great customer service skills.
· Strong written documentation skills.
· Great accuracy in your record keeping.
· Proven reliability and work ethic.
· Forklift license preferable (or willingness to obtain one)
· Willingness to share your driving record and your work history with us.
· Be willing to undertake health and drug screening.
You must have unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia.
