IT Business Analyst – Mitcham, VIC
Kogan People Solutions are assisting this well established and successful vehicle industry security participant to find an appropriately skilled IT Business Analyst. This role is intrinsic to the development of the next phase of their IT infrastructure, which is used at sites across the country where vehicle identity and tracking is actively used.
As their new BA, you will be key to ensuring that effective functionality is built into the enhanced systems which will meet both the needs of the company and, by extension, its many clients.

Role responsibilities
As part of this exciting opportunity:

• You will need highly developed communication skills to collect data and information, interview stakeholders and analyse business needs.
• Document existing and future operational environment, including an in-depth gap analysis in existing data, systems and processes.
• Based on requirements, existing system parameters and taking into account any cost constraints, formulate feasible functionality requirements to achieve the necessary business outcomes
• It will be part of your remit to detail systems plans, formulate technical specifications and produce all other necessary documentation and plans which will include but not be limited to project plans with defined scope and outcomes.
• You will also regularly deal with the any other members of the IT team responsible for coding and production of the systems and software being created.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the applications developed perform as designed and solve any problems to ensure the functionality which meets the needs of the business is delivered.
• You will also be involved with deployment and testing of new functionalities as well as end user documentation and training.

To be considered for this role you should be able to positively address the following attributes:

• Appropriate relevant degree in IT, with a higher IT university qualification desirable
• Post qualification experience of at least 2-3 years (preferably more) in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Expertise in PHP, Word Press or similar technologies
• Strong knowledge of leading-edge storage solutions
• Offer unrestricted full time Australian working rights.
