Vac Truck Operator

About your new role
Following the successful award of a long-term Non-Process Infrastructure Works contract, Downer are recruiting for a Vac Truck Operator with a background in the construction and maintenance industry for an ongoing permanent 2/2 Roster on an LNG site.
- Roster: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
- FIFO from Perth
- Operating/Driving HR truck with Combo/Hydro excavation unit.
- Non-destructive digging and locating of underground services.
- Backfilling of all excavations.
- Operating of bobcat (skid steer), tipper truck and Kanga for backfilling and landscaping
- Cutting concrete to access underground services.
- Plant and vehicle maintenance
A team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work safely and understand best practice in a maintenance environment and knowledge in the safe use of hand/power tools and equipment required to perform tasks.
To be successful, you will need to provide all necessary documentation/qualifications/tickets relevant to the position below:
- Australian Working Rights
- Current Drivers licence - HR
- Valid White Card.
- NDT Industry Experience (Preferred).
- Ability to work in teams and alone.
- Skid-steer ticket
- Excavator ticket (not essential)
- Landscaping experience (not essential)
- Mining experience
- High Pressure water blasting ticket Class B
