Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, manage tasks efficiently, and help streamline operations. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations and contributing to our mission of improving Indigenous health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining up-to-date databases.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
- Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Provide support for various administrative tasks, including booking travel and organizing events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Assist with research and information gathering to support ongoing projects.
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indigenous health issues or related fields is advantageous.
Pay: $34.47 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
