The Opportunity

We have multiple opportunities for pro-active individuals to undertake a range of waste facility operations including customer liaison, fee collection, transfer and management of waste within the facility, and maintenance of associated records.
As a Waste Facility Team Member, you will greet customers, inspect waste and quantify fees, collect monies and issue payment receipts; as well as direct customers to appropriate areas for waste disposal. You will carry out landfill operations and maintain waste facility and associated offices and amenities, including vegetation management.

About You

We are seeking individuals who have a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence and two (2) years' experience in a similar role (indicative) is preferred.
You will have the following skills and experience;

• Demonstrated experience in the operation of landfill plant or similar earthmoving equipment.
• Demonstrated oral communications skills in a customer-oriented work environment.
• Experience with cash handling procedures.
• Additional skills, knowledge and qualifications that may be applicable to this position, such as other specialist training or work experience.

Benefits

These are fixed term part time positions working 17 hours per week or 25.5 hours per week, for a period of 2.5 years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $71,872.01* gross per annum (paid pro-rata), comprising of:

• $1,239.60* per week base salary
• $142.55* per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
• These positions are also entitled to the additional $1.28 per hour Adverse Working Conditions Allowance Level 2.

• Remuneration is paid pro-rata for part time employees.
