The role
Your key responsibilities

  • Actively participate as a member of a team of online professionals to develop and deliver innovative digital strategies that enhance health outcomes for Queensland health system consumers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients across Queensland Health, including Hospital and Health Services, other Queensland Government agencies and key stakeholders across the health sector.
  • Support Queensland Health's website environments ensuring a quality, stable and responsive environment for all stakeholders - users, web publishers, technical staff and management, responding to day-to-day requests for assistance from users and web publishers.
  • Support the department's web content management system, search engine and collaboration spaces to meet the demands and requirements of all stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback to the Team Leader, Development Online Services on publishing, compliance, web standards, web analytics and tools and techniques to identify opportunities for improved services and outcomes and generate creative solutions for the management of corporate information and knowledge using contemporary technology.
The successful person

You will have demonstrated:
  • Skills and knowledge of the diverse distributed web-publishing environment in a decentralised, multi-disciplinary and technically complex service delivery environment.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging web technologies, publishing tools, content management systems, web standards and government accessibility requirements.
  • Ability to meet tight and often conflicting timeframes while problem solving.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting online projects on time, ensuring all output is aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.
