We're expanding our service hours to include Monday nights (Shift times: 4pm to 10pm) and are looking for:
- 1 Wok Chef to work two nights: Sundays and Mondays
- 1 Wok Chef to work Monday nights
Please do not apply if you do not have Wok experience as your application will not be taken further.
About the Role:
- Prepare a variety of high-quality wok dishes (mainly Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad kra pao, Stir-fries, Fried Rice, etc) using fresh ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in the kitchen.
- Ensure consistent portion control and plating presentation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Has a minimum of 1 year experience cooking with a wok in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Possesses a strong understanding of South East Asian cuisine and wok cooking techniques.
- Demonstrates a passion for creating flavourful and visually appealing dishes.
- Works efficiently under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude while working collaboratively with the team.
- Competitive hourly rate of $35 per hour (plus 11.5% superannuation).
- Immediate start available for the right candidate.
