Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Director of Engineering to join Rosewood Vienna.
Job Summary:

Responsibility for the internal technical team and close cooperation with external partners
Responsibility for maintenance and servicing work
Coordination of defect detection, notification and rectification
Responsibility for compliance with all internal and external laws and standards
Co-operation with the safety specialist
Joint planning of conversion work and its implementation
Process and cost optimisation in the areas of energy, maintenance and servicing
Preparation of forecasts and maintenance and investment budgets
Requesting quotations and ordering spare parts, new purchases and replacement equipment
Supporting our guests with minor technical problems

Required Skills:

Completed training in the commercial technical field
Professional experience in a similar position in the technical field in the hotel industry is an advantage
Entrepreneurial thinking with organisational skills
Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Additionally, the hotel includes meetings and events spaces to allow for a variety of private gatherings and conferences.
