We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to lead our strategic initiatives across the EU region. This pivotal role drives growth, enhances market presence, and fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements
What will you do?
You will play a crucial role in driving business development initiatives within the automotive remarketing sector, establishing and maintaining key customer relationships, negotiating solutions and tenders with key players in the market and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.


Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve objectives
  • Lead a high-performing commercial team, providing mentorship and support to drive their success
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities & threats
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functional to ensure alignment and maximize business performance
  • Monitor and report on the performance of commercial initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcome
  • Follow up & report on market dynamics and competitor activities
  • Represent OPENLANE at industry events to promote our brand and network with potential customers

Who are you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within the automotive industry, ideally within EU
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customers needs in the region
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Proficient in English, additional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed
