- Strategy Enablement
- Analyze and align business and IT strategies with external industry trends to guide enterprise strategy and architecture.
- Lead the assessment of current and future-state capabilities and identify gaps or opportunities to advance the IT environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create executable change roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Architecture Governance and Maintenance
- Develop and maintain target and transition architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategic goals.
- Ensure proper governance of architectural decisions and the ongoing visibility of strategic direction and implications.
- Provide guidance on technology roadmaps and IT investment themes, supporting strategic investment decisions.
- Strategy Implementation Oversight
- Provide transparency on the progress of capability implementation and alignment with established roadmaps.
- Monitor and report on the evolution of technology debt, advising on mitigation and remediation actions.
- Delivery Planning and Solutions
- Establish clear architecture standards, patterns, and guardrails to facilitate efficient decision-making across delivery teams.
- Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and leverage shared technologies where appropriate.
- Architecture Advisory
- Provide consultative advice to business leaders on topics such as strategy, M&A, delivery, and IT transformation.
- Actively participate in enterprise governance bodies and contribute to discussions on strategic direction.
- Architecture Practice Improvement
- Collaborate with other architects to advance architectural practice across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement in the delivery of architectural services to enhance organizational outcomes.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Security Architect, or in a similar role.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, CIS), threat modeling, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles, including LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and network services (DNS, DHCP, Load Balancers).
- Expertise in network security services (e.g., IPS, IDS, VPN, L3-L7 Firewalls) and protocols (e.g., IPSEC, SSL/TLS).
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, including Data Center (DC) to Platform-as-a-Service (Paa S) models.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate complex and evolving environments.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CBCI, GIAC, or ISO 22301/27001 (LA/LI).
- Experience within financial services and understanding of regulatory complexities is a plus.
