Expert Product Owner

We currently have a vacancy for an Expert Product Owner fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

Validate requirements and propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements;
Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint;
Reviews deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
Organize live demonstration of the product at the end of the sprint;
Facilitate the acceptance of the product by the business;
Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs.

Requirements

University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 16 years;
Minimum 5 years of experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;
Minimum 5 years of experience with Application Management Lifecycle;
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing new features to improve a product and translating this design towards the development team;
Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in building the product roadmap to ensure it complies with the user's vision;
At least 3 years of experience in Agile Methodology and Agile Toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq);
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or SAFe Product Owner or equivalent certification is required;
Excellent command of the English language.
