Job description
Following the move of Jeroen Peeters to Operations Manager Europe, Specialty Rental has a vacancy for Divisional Operations Excellence Manager. The Operations Excellence Manager is a key player in the division's exciting journey to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, process standardization, and speed across our global operations. You contribute to the sustainable profitable growth of the division by ensuring and improving its operational performance while fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability in line with our corporate goals.

Mission:
As Divisional Operations Excellence Manager, your role is to develop and drive operational excellence. Your mission is to lead strategic projects and, together with your divisional teams and different regions, develop a clear roadmap of global initiatives that improve operational efficiency. You drive the implementation of the roadmap as well as guide the organization successfully through change. You will ensure our global team joins our journey of operational excellence through effective and inspiring communication.

Your key responsibilities:

Global Leadership:

• Inspire a diverse global operations team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Develop and implement Global Operational Excellence.
• Drive execution to achieve operational efficiency.

Competence Development:

• Develop our global team with respect to Operational Excellence.
• Ensure the competence of process improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and Operational Excellence by providing training and mentorship to teams across the organization.

Change Management:

• Build a relationship with all stakeholders, e.g., our regional operations teams, to practice good change management.
• Build a strong communication plan to support change.

Operational Excellence:

• Lead Strategic projects where your leadership is required.
• Use digitalization, data, technology, and available tools to enhance our operations.
• Drive process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost optimization.
• Implement our "Operational Excellence Strategy" and key strategic focus areas and initiatives.
• Implement operational best practices and monitor KPIs.
• Create global standardization of processes.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement and translate findings into actionable solutions.
• Apply Operational Excellence methodologies to analyze, map, and execute process improvements.

Experience requirements

• Proven track record in process optimization and operational excellence in a customer center and/or product company.
• Proven track record of delivering results and developing a successful, well-motivated organization in a leadership role, with special attention to change management and communication.
• Experience and capability in operations management, service, lean management, logistics, etc.
• Find energy in an environment with different cultures and international business environments.

What we expect of you?

Qualifications
A university degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a similar, relevant field.

Knowledge

• Excellent abilities and interest in PC applications (Microsoft Excel, Power Point,...).
• Solid understanding of Operations, Lean, and/or other process improvement techniques.
• Very good knowledge of English is a must.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
