The Position
Do you have an eye for detail, a cool head and an innate understanding of how to design and deliver a spectacular event? Are you ready to bring your skills and experience into a new role at a leading luxury hotel? Then we’d love you to join us at Rocco Forte Hotels as Meetings and Events Manager.
From weddings, dinners and cocktail parties to conferences and press junkets, you will ensure that all in-house events and meetings run seamlessly — providing an experience that goes above and beyond our guests’ high expectations. You will manage and motivate a team to provide confident, creative and smooth service, consistent with Rocco Forte Hotels’ international reputation for unrivalled hospitality and events.
Your main focus is

Active conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of the hotel.
Answer and input of incoming requests on group and banqueting business, trace and closely follow up with the Sales Team.
Ensure that all new leads are responded on time as per RF Group procedures.
Ensure that events progress seamlessly by collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
Groups handling
Ensure billing accuracy
Participate in Groups meetings and Sales meetings when required.
Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
Maintain knowledge of market, competition and customers.
