• Drive continuous process improveme We are seeking an experienced IAM Security Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within a complex enterprise environment. Based in Brussels, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business, technology, and project teams to ensure IAM governance, compliance, and security while advocating for process improvements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
IAM Solution Design & Implementation

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for designing and deploying IAM solutions in a diverse, dynamic environment.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and project management teams to define and onboard business roles, applications, and IAM initiatives.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process automation, optimization, and integration across IAM systems.
• Conduct IAM maturity assessments and perform technology gap analyses to enhance overall security posture.
• Translate business needs into functional IAM requirements and guide stakeholders through implementation processes.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure IAM policies and practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Reporting & Metrics

• Develop comprehensive reporting methods for tracking IAM program performance, productivity, and service quality.
• Capture and analyze key IAM metrics, presenting results to stakeholders to support decision-making and ensure accountability.

Competencies:

• Proficiency with IAM tools such as Sail Point, Cyber Ark, Active Directory, Forge Rock.
• Strong understanding of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Salesforce) in the context of IAM.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing IAM strategies and implementing solutions for large, complex organizations with diverse user populations.
• In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, SSO, authentication models, Identity Lifecycle, SOD (Segregation of Duties), and GDPR.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to make informed business decisions and secure cooperation from key stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in high-pressure situations and delivering results under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• A strong passion for technology risk management and information security.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, IAM, compliance, and risk management.
• Proven expertise in modern IAM principles, best practices, and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop IAM strategies, assess risks, and formulate security recommendations.
• Solid understanding of risk management practices and privacy regulations, including GDPR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and present complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with business role modeling and managing IAM projects.
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch or French is considered a plus.
• Strong team player with a diplomatic attitude and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
