Trains and trams all around the world are equipped with Televic Rail solutions, from New Zealand to Canada, from China to the United States, from India to Belgium, England and France
The goal of this project is to create an intelligent assistant that communicates with all individual devices and applications in the vehicle and represents a clear step-by-step approach to execute the measurements. This assistant should replace a dozen of open tabs and sessions (e.g. terminal windows) with these devices and gain a lot of time.
Technically the assistant should be able to detect all device, device types, stream messages/signals to a selection of all available audio outputs as well as record audio from the various audio inputs. Apart from the streaming, the tool needs to process this data to provide us sufficient information for our configuration:
- Impact of PA broadcast level on microphone sensitivity determine risk for acoustic feedback.
- correlation of the real ambient noise and ambient noise measured by the audio system
- set up of PA broadcast level based on the ambient noise measurement
