Position description
We are looking for a motivated IT Operations Manager based at our headquarters in Zaventem, Belgium to take responsibility for delivering IT services and training to our 450 end-users worldwide. This position reports to the CIO and plays a leading role in the further improvement of our IT solutions and their adoption within the organization, with the objective to increase employee productivity.
You ensure delivery of high-quality IT services according to Service Level Agreements with our external Managed Services Provider (24/7 Service Desk, End User Computing, Microsoft 365, Infrastructure, Security Operations).
You lead a small team of on-site IT system engineers based at our manufacturing plants in Yamanashi, Japan and Oklahoma, USA, and provide local hands-on IT support for the Belgium office to achieve maximal end-user satisfaction.
You develop and deliver effective end-user training for the Microsoft 365 productivity suite, and educate employees how best to use technology (whilst complying to corporate policies) to become more efficient.
You assist in developing internal IT communications (newsletters, announcements, etc.) together with our Marketing Communications team.
Education requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar through experience;
• Fluent in English; other languages would be a plus.

Experience requirements:

• Broad experience from an IT service delivery role in an international environment;
• Administrator level knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Share Point, Teams, One Drive, Copilot, etc.), Intune, Azure, and Active Directory / Entra ID;
• Experience working with a near/offshore Managed Services Provider;
• Knowledge of networking, server hosting and Cloud infrastructure;
• Relevant Microsoft certifications;
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred;
• Demonstrated ability to provide end-user training to increase productivity;
• Experience with rolling out Generative AI technology would be a plus.
