You will join the Apparel division. This division specializes in high-quality protective clothing for a wide range of target audiences.
Your goal is to promote a wide range of protective clothing (industry, workwear, and buoyancy aids/life jackets) to end-users (existing customers and selected prospects) in an industrial environment. This will occur within a predetermined geographic area (Be Lux) with established sales objectives and adherence to Sioen's sales strategy. This supports our distribution network and stimulates further revenue growth for Sioen Belgium.

Job description
  • Follow the entire project, from the first contact to invoicing. You will be responsible for the internal follow-up of the project, starting from steering calculations and samples, through feedback to the client, to converting it into an order. Handling complaints is also part of your responsibilities.
  • Prospect and develop excellent customer relationships, identify potential (with existing and new customers, as well as end-users), and engage with professional partners at all levels.
  • Translate market needs into OEM, specials, or new ideas for the standard range. You will be supported by a technical team (Product Developers, Designers, etc.) and back-office staff.
  • Report market information (prices and products of competitors, customers, etc.) and visits to the Business Unit Manager. Actions to be taken will always be discussed beforehand.
  • Co-organize and staff booths at national and international trade shows and open house days, actively participate in national and international sales meetings, and assess the sales potential of products.

Profile
  • You have a higher education (Bachelor/Master) and at least 5 years of relevant sales experience in an international production environment.
  • You are highly sales-oriented and able to achieve maximum results with a structured project approach and passion for your product.
  • You can commercially translate technical properties to the customer.
  • You are willing to further immerse yourself in the world of protective clothing and its specific products.
  • You are communicative, diplomatic, and demonstrate the necessary persuasive power and specialization.
  • You are creative, open-minded, solution-oriented, and capable of functioning autonomously as well as in a team.
  • You have a good command of Dutch, French, and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • You will strengthen our presence in Belgium and Luxembourg.
